In addition to discussing her long-standing connection with her ex-boyfriend Patrick Muldoon, Denise Richards disclosed that she and Charlie Sheen did not communicate during her four-year romance because of Charlie’s jealously.
It seems that Charlie Sheen is not a huge supporter of the idea of nice ex-partners.
Denise Richards actually disclosed that prior to their 2006 divorce, her ex-husband had a serious jealous streak.
The actress thought back on their decades-long friendship during the March 25 episode of her Bravo reality show Denise Richards & Her Wild Things, where she reconnected with her ex-boyfriend Patrick Muldoon to co-star in his new song video.
Denise, who is currently married to Aaron Phyphers, revealed in a confessional that “My romantic relationship with Pat ended years ago, and it is just a deep friendship.” “Charlie had a difficult time with my relationship with Pat, so I am really thankful Aaron respects that.”
During her four years with Charlie, her friendship with the Melrose Place actor, whom she had dated briefly in the 1990s, was even put on hold.
The 54-year-old added, “I did not talk to Pat when I was married to Charlie, and it was difficult because I did not want to lose him as a friend. However, I talked to him constantly about him toward the end of the marriage.”
Furthermore, Denise was the only person Patrick wanted to feature as his love interest in his most recent rock video because of their closer bond than before. Sami Sheen, her and Charlie’s eldest daughter, was undoubtedly uncomfortable seeing them film some sultry moments, though.
The 21-year-old said in a confessional, “I am not going to lie, he is very flirty with her.” “I feel like he might still have feelings for my mom, but I do not want to get him into trouble.”
Additionally, Sami asked Aaron, “How is he fine with it? They have like 30 years of history,” when they were on set.
Aaron, however, was calm as a cucumber.
“I have a very good relationship with Patrick,” he said in a confessional with his wife. “That is not how I get jealous.”
“I do not think you have ever felt like, ‘Oh, this is her ex-boyfriend.’ I even forget I dated him,” Denise continued.
“I am very confident in our relationship because I know what I can do,” Aaron said, beaming broadly.
“Was it weird for you to see me kiss another man?” Denise asked Aaron after the film was shot, and he said, “No. Not in that setting. If I am driving to a restaurant and you are sucking lips with somebody else, that would be f–king weird.”
