Finally, B’Town is making itself heard on important issues. Recently, Priyanka Chopra revealed her genuine reasons for leaving Bollywood. She cited shady politics as the cause and vowed never to collaborate with anyone again. Preity Zinta, on the other hand, spoke out about being harassed and received support from many, including Malaika Arora and Hrithik Roshan. Veteran actress Shefali Shah can now remember being inappropriately groped in a store. Details can be found below!
Most people are aware that Shefali’s breakthrough performance came in Monsoon Wedding (2001). She portrayed a little girl who experienced sexual abuse in this movie. Also, it included key performances by Naseeruddin Shah, Lillete Dubey, Vasundhara Das, Vijay Raaz, Rajat Kapoor, Randeep Hooda, and Soni Razdan.
“As I stated previously, everyone has gone through that,” Shefali Shah said to ANI in reference to her own experience. When I entered a crowded market, I can still clearly recall being inappropriately touched and felt awful about it. I wouldn’t say it was a fault, but it’s just… humiliating, so I never said anything.
And wondering whether you done something to invite this, the host Smita Prakash continued. “Sure,” Shefali Shah answered. You and I both agree. Did I do anything? is a common question. You experience guilt, humiliation, and “bhool jao” (forget it). Submit it under a rug or another surface. In all honesty, I don’t believe I’ve given the discussion’s importance much thought. It was something that immediately affected me and the whole movie (Monsoon Wedding).
Shefali Shah has advanced considerably, to be sure. She currently plays the lead in Delhi Crime, a crime drama that won an International Emmy Award and was inspired by the 2012 Delhi gang rape case.
Preity Zinta recently shared her experience with harassment, in the meantime. A man in a wheelchair chased the woman’s car when she refused to pay him, and she forcibly kissed her daughter on the mouth. Priyanka Chopra, Malaika Arora, Arjun Rampal, Lilly Singh, and others endorsed his lengthy article.
