As she knelt down to scrub her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Courteney Cox channelled her “Friends” character Monica Gellar.
The actress can be seen sprinting down Hollywood Boulevard in videos that were shared on social media on Wednesday after numerous individuals intervened to clean off her star.
Nonetheless, she made multiple pitstops to clear the stars of her best friends Laura Dern and Jennifer Aniston, as well as her “Friends” co-star Reese Witherspoon.
The humorous clip, set to Dolly Parton’s well-known “9 to 5” song, was captioned with the phrase “Somebody’s got to do it,” according to the “Scream” actress.
Although Cox’s video made everyone think of her “Friends” character, she was actually utilising the Walk of Fame to advertise her new cleaning company, HomeCourt.
Following the actress’ humorous antics, Witherspoon is grateful that someone is looking after her celebrity.
“Thanks for keeping us clean, Kourt!! 🤩,” she commented on the video.
Fellow “Friends” alum Lisa Kudrow also reacted on Cox’s video writing, “Simply the sweetest thing ever.”
On her own Instagram story, Dern, who recently got a matching tattoo to Cox, wrote: “Kourt, I appreciate you cleaning us all up so well! I’ve been considering doing this for some time.” But in order to achieve these glossy shines, I needed a homecourt surface cleaner.
Cox had received his own Walk of Fame star only a month ago.
Despite the absence of their longtime best friends Matthew Perry, Matt LeBlanc, and David Schwimmer, Aniston and Kudrow attended the ceremony.
But the “Romy and Michelle” star made sure Cox mentioned, “Kourtney, we just want to express that we are so happy to have known you,” during her speech. Your beauty, talent, and most importantly, your character as a nice and decent human being, are all real. I want to personally thank you for improving our life.
You are one of the funniest people on the earth, Aniston remarked, visibly moved. Nothing gets me happier than Courteney Jokes, who never fails to put a smile on our faces. …and for making our lives better through your work.” I’m grateful. We are really pleased with you.
