Cora Jade has been absent from WWE NXT programming for a while, but she has her sights set on the Women’s Title, the program’s centerpiece. Unexpectedly, she returned and attacked the champion, which was a startling turn of events. Another name may compete for the gold medal alongside him.

Indi Hartwell, who recently won the WWE NXT Women’s Title, had her maiden title defense at NXT Stand & Deliver 2023 last night. She put her newly earned championship on the line against Zo Stark, another competitor in Saturday’s six-way ladder match. These two superstars squared off in the inaugural segment following this match.

Despite a valiant attempt by Stark against Hartwell, the champion ultimately won. Hartwell escaped Stark’s grasp following a belly-to-back suplex that Stark successfully executed. When Hartwell turned him around and got Stark’s shoulder down for the three-count, Stark was attempting to cover. He got shot in the back as he was having fun in the ring.

WWE NXT could have a three way feud

Tiffany Stratton to the ring on the ramp to declare her intent to win the WWE NXT Women’s Championship. Cora Jade unexpectedly made her way back to NXT, and while Indy was preoccupied, she startled Hartwell with a back strike before pinning him to the ground with a DDT. Jade held up her title and declared, “I still govern this place,” as Hartwell fell.

Before exiting the ring, Jade gave Hartwell the belt back. Jade confronts Tiffany, who is still on the ramp, as he makes his way back. At the forthcoming NXT Battleground PLE, it appears that WWE is planning to build up a triple threat match between these two challengers and the champion.

Jade missed over three months of WWE programming before making a comeback to WWE NXT. She most recently participated in a 20-woman NXT battle royal on the show’s January 10 broadcast. According to recent rumors, Jade was reportedly healing from an unspecified wound. It is certain that the physicians have given her the go-ahead to resume her duties now that she has returned from the break.
