(Poster Picture Credits) The youth branch of a significant state party and two different people separately offered cash awards to persons who could demonstrate the veracity of the impending movie “The Kerala Story” and provide supporting evidence.According to the Adah Sharma-starring movie, which is set to hit theaters on May 5, some 32,000 women from Kerala have vanished after being brainwashed, converted, and sent on terror missions in India and abroad. The second-largest member of the Congress-led UDF and chairman of the Muslim Youth League, PK Firoz, promised to provide Rs 1 crore if the authors of the Kerala tale could show that the narrative was factually accurate. He declared that he would “give Rs 10 lakh to anyone who can produce proof that women were compelled to join the Islamic State and were converted.” In a Facebook post, lawyer and actor Shukkur stated that he would “give Rs 11 lakh to anyone who names the women from Kerala who were converted, and subsequently joined the Islamic State.” The ruling CPI-M-led Left and UDF urged that the movie not be screened as soon as the teaser was aired. Saji Cherian, the minister of culture for Kerala, advised the public to avoid watching “Kerala Story” if it were to air. A legal action will be taken, he added.
