Based on property registration records viewed on the Inspector General of Registration (IGR) website, Bollywood actress Amrita Singh paid Rs. 18 crore for a residential apartment in Juhu, Mumbai. In February 2025, the transaction was registered.
Many Bollywood stars call Juhu, one of Mumbai’s most affluent residential neighborhoods, home. It is well-known for its beautiful coastline, fine dining options, and close proximity to corporate centers like Andheri and Bandra. It also provides good access to the Mumbai Metro system, the Western Express Highway, and the international airport. According to a Square Yards investigation of IGR property registration paperwork, Bollywood celebrities Varun Dhawan, Janhvi Kapoor, Kartik Aaryan, and Shakti Kapoor also own apartments in Juhu.
Amrita Singh purchased a ready-to-move-in residential project in the Peninsula building of Nutan Laxmi Cooperative Housing Society Limited. Square Yards examined the IGR property registration documents, which show that the unit has a built-up area of 252.04 square feet. m. (around 2,712.9 square feet) and has three parking spots. The transaction came with a Rs. 30,000 registration fee and a Rs. 90 lakh stamp duty payment.
