Love had to occur. As the movie celebrates its 25th anniversary of release, actor Bijay Anand, who played Rahul Bajaj in the movie, explains why the movie was the reason he stopped acting 17 years ago. He added that he “has moved on from that sour experience” and “no longer holds any grudges against anyone,” though.

“When I watched the movie, the producers had replaced my voice with another voice that sounded incredibly flimsy and quiet. My voice is not like that, so it was very embarrassing. The fact that this is how the business world operates made me very sad to hear this. Anand says she left the acting business for 17 years because she felt she didn’t want to be a part of it.

The actor claims that he never felt like he belonged to the business even before quitting. “I had no history of nepotism. I was an outsider and on the right track, but the 66-year-old said that dubbing his voice for the hero (Ajay Devgan) to look better than me or for whatever reason he has “shocked me.”

Anand admits that the entire dubbing incident makes him feel embarrassed, and he doesn’t even watch his movie. “have only ever had to witness the necessity of love. My family would say, “Oh, look,” even when it came on the TV, but I would turn it off. I was ashamed whenever I heard my voice, “He disclosed.

When asked if the directors or his co-stars knew about his issue, Anand responded, “I am disclosing this for the first time. Without asking me, he made a trembling, hoarse noise. I lost it because it made my persona look foolish. I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to get over how shocked I was. I had also declined significant roles at the time.

When he was not in the ArcLights, he changed into a yoga instructor. In 2015, he made a comeback to the business by taking on the parent role in the program Sita’s Ram. “If Sita’s Ram is offered to you as a yoga instructor, you accept it. I could see how this might appeal to a wide range of people, which it did. I returned to acting as a result because I was unable to decline the role, he says.

Anand has indeed come back with a new outlook and has lost interest in the business or its politics. “I’ve evolved. I’m no longer reliant on how the market appears. I adore performing. For me, acting is a passion rather than a career. Being a successful yoga instructor, I understand that the market doesn’t require it. I’m happy because I’m working on a project that I want to work on. But I want to emphasize that I don’t regret making that movie and I had a great time doing it “said Anand.
