Anubhav Sinha shares his apprehension about making a ‘crowd’ in black and white (Photo Credits- Instagram)
Anubhav Sinha, a film producer, director, and writer, revealed how he was first hesitant to shoot his movie “Bheed” in black and white because even great movies that were shot that way needed to be coloured. He was unsure of how his movie would be received by the public.
Anubhav explained how he came up with the concept of filming a black-and-white movie in the twenty-first century: “I got the idea when we were all working in Alibaug. I was first afraid to bring up the idea with the team since I assumed it would be rejected, so I was taken aback when everyone embraced it.
The renowned director, who has created films such as “Ra.One,” “Tum Bin,” “Dus,” “Thappad,” “Anek,” “Middle Class Love,” and “Article 15,” among others, claimed he became anxious when he imagined the audience’s response to his picture.
“I was concerned about how people would react to this picture, which is in black and white, when the trailer was ready to debut because people aren’t used to seeing it,” the director of Bhood remarked. We were doing the exact opposite for “Mughal-e-Azam” in colour. Nonetheless, I think that movies are created from the heart. And that’s exactly how this movie is.
There are several celebrities in the crowd, including Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Kapur, Bhumi Pednekar, Ashutosh Rana, Dia Mirza, Virendra Saxena, Aditya Srivastava, Kritika Kamra, and Karan Pandit.
