Anshuman Jha and Sierra Winters remarried in March using Maithil customs, four months after their initial union in the United States. After two years of dating, Anshuman and Sierra wed in October of last year in North Carolina, USA.
The traditional Indian Maithil wedding took place outside of Mumbai in Govardhan Eco Village. His late mother wanted him to get married in accordance with Hindu traditions. For the wedding, Sierra’s family is visiting India for the first time.
Anshuman shared a photo from the wedding on Instagram and added: “The universe’s best birthday present. married her once more. This time, mum wanted a proper Vedic wedding.” On Wednesday, his birthday, his friends and coworkers swamped the comment section with birthday wishes. Anshuman described it as his fourth marriage in a statement, “I support the concept of marriage and am happy that both families could attend the wedding. Prior to their wedding, Anshuman and his family traveled to Dharamsala in the first week of March to meet with the Dalai Lama. Sierra and Anshuman initially connected in Dharamshala in 2019. In order to purchase Tibetan medicine for his mother, he was traveling to Dharamsala. Afterwards, his mother had cancer. Sierra was with her mother when she lost them; she is a triathlon competitor and a culinary major at Duke University in the United States.
Anshuman most recently appeared in Lakdabagha, directed by Victor Mukherjee and released in January of this year. In the movie, which also starred Riddhi Dogra as a police officer and Milind Soman as his father, he played the pivotal character of a vigilante animal lover.
