According to sources, A Complete Unknown star Monica Barbaro and actor Andrew Garfield are supposedly dating, suggesting that Hollywood may have discovered its next power couple.
Since fans have recently seen the two celebrities together in public, there have been rumors that they may be dating.
The fact that Garfield and Barbaro are currently dating was revealed by others. The couple has “been pretty lowkey and have been spending time together quietly,” according to a source.
Neither Garfield nor Barbaro have confirmed their reported relationship in any statements to far.
The announcement coincides with Barbaro’s current candidacy for the Academy Awards’ Best Supporting Actress prize for her well-received portrayal of Joan Baez in A Complete Unknown.
The couple’s recent appearance at a West End production of Richard II, which starred Jonathan Bailey, added fuel to the rumors about their alleged romance.
Garfield has previously been connected to novelist and psychic Dr. Kate Thomas. In March of the previous year, they were seen together in public. Their relationship did not continue long, though, as Thomas acknowledged in October that they had split up “months ago” by then.
After costarring in The Amazing Spider-Man, Garfield and Emma Stone had a notable relationship earlier in his career. After their split, they stayed friends.
He was also connected to model Alyssa Miller in 2021–2022. According to reports, they also dated for a few months.
Garfield maintains that he would rather keep his love life private and will not be disclosing any information to the public, even if the public is curious about his relationship status.
In an interview conducted in October 2024, he declared, “I have never, and I will never, speak about or confirm or deny anything about my personal life with anyone, ever.”
Meanwhile, the public has never before heard about Barbaro’s romantic relationship with another famous person.
