The actor plays a journalist investigating the causes of many car accidents on a highway flyover in Alaya F’s subsequent film, U-Turn. The young woman, however, becomes involved in some strange murders, which prompts the police officers assigned to the investigation to take a closer look at her involvement. The majority of the projects Alaya has worked on so far are geared toward an urban audience, she recently revealed. She also acknowledged that she might not have been recognized if she had visited any tier-2 city or town in India.

Together with Rajesh Sharma, Priyanshu Painyuli, Aashim Gulati, and Manu Rishi Chadha, U-Turn also stars Arif Khan. It is a Hindi adaptation of the 2016 Kannada movie with Shraddha Srinath playing the protagonist. The film, which was directed by Pawan Kumar, has been translated into Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, and Filipino. On April 28, Zee5 will debut it.
Alaya said to mid-day that she is aware that the audience she has primarily catered to with her films has been urban. He said, “The urban audience has been kept in mind in the majority of my films thus far. When I travel to Mumbai, Delhi, or Bangalore, many people would ask for my photo. Yet if I board a plane and travel to [a tier-2] City, nobody will recognize me.

She costarred with Kartik Aaryan in the Disney+ Hotstar thriller Freddy last year. In DJ Mohabbat, Alaya was last seen flirting with newcomer Karan Mehta. Anurag Kashyap was in charge of directing the musical love story. Also, she has movies this year like Ek Aur Ghazab Kahani and Shree alongside Rajkumar Rao.
