Adam Rymer has been appointed to the newly created position of Chief Commercial Officer – US by Regal Cineworld Group.

Rymer held positions as COO and CFO at Lava Bear Films, SVP of Digital Platforms at Universal Pictures, and President of Legendary Entertainment’s Digital Networks for a considerable amount of time. Rymer was the CEO of OpTic Gaming until recently. He began his career with Universal Music Group, where he worked in business development and strategic planning.

According to a statement from Acuna, “Adam’s career to date offers a rare blend of knowledge both inside our industry and in neighboring industries that can bring something new to our organization.” He is bringing a fresh viewpoint to the business, and it will mesh wonderfully with the leaders that have brought Regal this far. Adam and our current teams will work together to not only build on our history of recent success but also to create new standards for our business’s performance in the years to come.
