Anurag and Sara have already collaborated on his second film, Metro in Dino. Four adoring and uplifting interwoven stories, all taking place in contemporary India, will be told in the anthology movie. Along with Neena Gupta, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkona Sensharma, Ali Fazal, and Fatima Sana Shaikh, it also features Aditya Roy Kapur, Anupam Kher, and others. Moreover, T-Series is a common co-producer on both movies.
In an interview with Connect FM’s Faridoon Shahryar, Sara said: “Aashiqui 3 hasn’t been offered to me yet, but I would really like to. Yes, without a doubt, if the film is handed to me.”
When Rahul Roy and Anu Aggarwal founded the Aashiqui franchise in 1990, it was. It was directed by Mahesh Bhatt and became a hit musical. With the release of Aashiqui 2, starring Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor, Vishesh Productions brought the series back to life. With Vicky Kaushal, the actor will appear in the untitled Laxman Utekar movie as well as the historical drama Ae Watan Mere Watan this year. In the Kannan Iyer-directed movie, she portrays Usha Mehta, an underground radio broadcaster and an Indian freedom warrior. The next movie directed by Homi Adajania, Murder Mubarak, also features Karisma Kapoor, and Sara is now working on it.
