One of Bollywood’s most prominent actors and actresses is Kareena Kapoor Khan. She is renowned for portraying a variety of roles in a range of cinema genres. The 2000 film Refugee marked his acting debut. In the same year, Ameesha Patel also made her acting debut in Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai.
Bebo was scheduled to make her acting debut in Kaho Naa opposite Hrithik Roshan, as was widely known. Pyaar Hai, however she backed out of the project and gave Ameesha the part. After the movie’s enormous success, Kareena criticized Ameesha while her debut film, Refugee, was not well received.
Kareena Kapoor Khan reportedly stated, “Hrithik’s father spent five hours on every frame and close-up of his kid, whereas not even five seconds were spent on Ameesha,” as quoted by India Today. In several scenes, you can see him with facial acne and bags under his eyes. Although I would earn a better deal if I were in the movie, I still believe that the spotlight would have been split between the two of us. Consequently, I’m glad I passed on doing this movie.
The following year, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham was released and quickly became a great hit. The public enjoyed Kareena’s portrayal of Pooja Sharma, and over time, the part has also come to be recognized as iconic. Kareena claimed that following the film’s enormous success, she made an effort to mend fences with Ameesha. Even more, she went so far as to welcome him at the awards ceremony.
“Ameesha Patel is not a problem for me. Even after Gadar, I called him. I told her that I thought she was nice. Even during a ceremony for awards, I approached him and greeted him. Kareena Kapoor Khan also provided an explanation for her previous labeling of Ameesha as a subpar actor. “Ameesha is a horrible actress, but I only stated so since it was explicitly required of me. Who am I to make such a statement, I responded? Who am I to make that judgment? Never once did I criticize Ameesha Patel. He is a coworker. She is employed by my sister. But I won’t put up with false information about me.
On my shoulders, I hoisted Mujhe Kuch Kehna Hai. Ameesha carried the weight of the world on her shoulders. What took place? Look, I’m not competing for first place. She is free to occupy the throne at the top if she so chooses. I’ll also take a seat at her feet if she so chooses. I’m content if doing that makes her happy. I’m not trying to outdo him. There is no equivalent. Such movies are not even made by us. She will never be able to make the films I have.
