One of the major hits of 1993 was the romantic-comedy Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke (HHRK), which was directed by Mahesh Bhatt and produced by Tahir Hussain. Aamir Khan and Juhi Chawla appeared in the movie, which took home a National Film Award – Special Mention (Feature Film).
‘Ghoonghat Ki Aad Se,’ a well-known song by Nadeem-Shravan, was a tremendous hit in addition to the narrative and performance. At Udaipur, Rajasthan, where the song was filmed, Chawla explains, “We had already shot the entire film; the only thing remaining was this song.” I’m not sure how, but only assistants attended the photo shoot. The choreographers Saroj Khan, Mahesh Bhatt, Praveen Bhatt, and Tahir Sahab all sent assistants. Along with these aides, Aamir and I collaborated on the song, which ended up being the movie’s standout moment. It was a surprise, but occasionally you just can’t predict how magic works. One of them is this film.

Chawla expresses gratitude for the support by saying, “If people remember the movie after all these years, it was fantastic. None of us were aware of what was going on while we were filming. The young people have great talent. Since Chawla and Khan had previously collaborated on a number of films, “there was a level of comfort” when HHRK was being filmed over a period of a year and a half. “It was one of the first movies where we practiced scenes before filming them. I have never done anything similar before. Mahesh ji was a delight to work with. On the sets, I clearly recall lots of laughter. Given how much fun it was, I want my kids to watch this movie. Many individuals have told me how much they enjoyed the movie, she says.
As it was his father’s production, she claims that Khan was “quite comfortable with the ideas throughout the filming.” She continues, “In one scene, he asked me to leap before sprinting, to give the scenario a funny atmosphere. Such advice was quite helpful. Aamir made significant contributions to the movie, including delaying the edit for a month. He assumed a stoic demeanor in the moments because he knew that if he didn’t, the circumstance and all of us performing in the scene would appear absurd. When I reflect, I can see how much it helped.
