Aamir Khan and Juhi Chawla starred in the romantic comedy Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke in which Navneet Nishan played Maya, the businessman Bijlani’s daughter who aspires to wed Rahul (played by Aamir Khan).
He found excitement in both the part and the prospect of working with such a well-known celebrity as Aamir Khan. “I was quite uneasy on the Mahesh Bhatt, Juhi Chawla, and Aamir Khan sets. I was nothing at all. These prominent actors were joined by three adorable, intelligent, daring, and talented young actors. I once wondered where I had come from. I still find it hard to imagine that I will be in such a large movie. It was a pleasant encounter. It was one of my first, most thrilling professional encounters. In sharp contrast to his image on the popular TV show Tara, Nishan’s appearance comprised of a long-haired wig and blue lenses.
She says that Aamir Khan was “quietly naughty” and that she has “great recollections” of working on the movie. Regrettably, a cute sequence was deleted from the film. I go to pick up Amir from his place after we get engaged and give him a cheek kiss. She had lipstick on her cheek when I kissed her. And then, being Aamir, he later added, “It has to be in continuity.” So he gave me at least 7-8 cheek kisses throughout the day. I told my pals when I got home that I had kissed Aamir Khan all day. He laughs and declares, “I’ve won the lotto.”
She describes another instance in which youngsters threw eggs at her. We soon discovered that Ande is noisy. Thus, before tossing them, Aamir made sure they were adequately broken and did not inflict much harm. As soon as the gunfire began, we started getting hit with eggs, and they didn’t stop. Because I’m a vegetarian, I can’t stand the scent of eggs. I had eggshells covering me from head to toe. I’m glad I wore a disposable wig because otherwise my hair would stink for days,” she says.
