Saira Banu, a seasoned actress, takes a trip down memory lane and discusses her 1974 movie Sagina. Saira discussed her late husband, actor Dilip Kumar, who was a part of the movie, in an Instagram post on Sunday.

Saira also related a story about how Dileep set up a badminton court for everyone while the movie was being shot in Gayabari. He called Dilip Kumar’s portrayal of the character in the movie one of his “most mesmerizing and thrilling” portrayals. He posted several images along with a Sagina video.
Saira Gets Nostalgic
He captioned the post, “Sharing these,” “One of my all-time favorite movies is Sagina. On the real history of the labor movement, it is based. When you first meet Sagina, a factory worker who is sincere, assertive, and lovable, to struggle against the British owners’ tyranny in North-East India’s tea gardens. Sagina pursues justice and works as a welfare officer.”

The entire filming crew would gather in the evening to play badminton together on a court the first sahab had set up in the garden before retiring to the comfort of the house to sing and joke around in turn,” he said. Saira added, “Sharing a scene that is one of my favorites: Sagina, a strong social being, is sulking in her office because she is bored, and she then steps outside into the greenery. forced to leave the field for a breath of fresh air. About Sagina
Tapan Sinha directed Sagina, which was made available in 1974. Dilip Kumar, Saira Banu, Aparna Sen, and Om Prakash all appear in the movie. He starred in the remake of Tapan Sinha’s 1970 Bengali film Sagina Mahto, which was also a remake. Saira and Dileep additionally appeared in Gopi Aur Bairaag, Sagina Mahto, and Duniya. In 1966, Saira and Dileep got married.
