Shilpa Shetty returns to Kannada films after 18 years with ‘KD – The Devil’ (Photo Credits-Instagram)
After over 18 years, actress Shilpa Shetty Kundra is about to return to Kannada cinema with the release of the movie “KD – The Devil.”
The Ugadi news was revealed by Shilpa on Instagram.
“On this auspicious day of fresh beginnings, I am pleased to share with you a new character entering the struggle on the battlefield of KD as Satyavati,” the Karnataka-born actress wrote in her letter.
Shilpa Shetty made her acting debut in 1993’s “Baazigar,” which starred Shah Rukh Khan. Another Kannada gangster movie is “KD,” which was directed by Prem of “Kariya” fame.
According to reports, the historical action movie is based on occasions that happened in Bengaluru during the 1970s. Sanjay Dutt, Dhruv Sarja, and V Ravichandran all had significant parts.
In the meantime, Shilpa Shetty is the creator of the upcoming Hindi-language police action drama streaming series “Indian Police Force.”
Rohit Shetty is the series’ producer and director. Vivek Oberoi and Sidharth Malhotra also play major parts in it. The Police Universe created by Shetty is the basis for the TV show.
