When they were filming Main Hoon Na, actor Zayed Khan recalled how choreographer-director Farah Khan “abused and threw slippers” at him. Zayed stated in a recent interview that Farah became irate after she yelled “cut” on the sets. Zayed noted that there would be challenges because they were shooting at a very high altitude.
Farah Khan misbehaved with him during the Main Hoon Na filming, according to Zayed Khan.
In her first film as a director, Farah wrote and directed Main Hoon Na (2004). Shah Rukh Khan, Sushmita Sen, Sunil Shetty, Amrita Rao, and Zayed all appear in the movie. At West Bengal’s St. Paul’s School, Main Hoon Na was shot.
In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Zayed discussed the film’s production. “At the time, we weren’t using digital cameras but instead were filming on 400 feet of film. In other words, it wasn’t like “jitne bhi take chahiye le lo.” On the sets, there was a code of conduct. We were also playing High Attitude. Halat kharab ho jati thi (That was difficult for us) was said after giving a take. I recall that the camera caught Amrita Rao approaching me during the session. everyone nearby Be ready, be ready, be ready was the message. That was done by the dancers several times.
Anyhow, the dancer next to me fell to the ground as the camera panned to me. He had a fit because of his exhaustion. I was at a loss for what to do. I began my act before realizing I had to dance for this guy. This cannot be my introduction, I reasoned. So I commanded, “Cut.” And Farah became very irate. In addition to abusing me, she also tossed her slippers at me. How can you expect me to dance on top of someone who is dying, I told her. You can’t say cut on my ble***y set, she growls. I will say “cut.” The members of the team noticed that the poor man was lying down. The man was saved. The second time we performed it, everything went pretty nicely.
Chura Liya Hai Tumne, a 2003 film, marked Zayed’s acting debut. Later, he became well-known for his parts in Main Hoon Na, Shabd, and Dus. Haasil was the last time viewers saw him.
Zayed has been out of the spotlight for a while, but he is about to return in movies. The Film That Never Was is the title of his comeback film. Jackie Shroff and Zayed both appear in the Mohit Srivastava-directed movie.
