This year’s March marked the passing of Satish Kaushik. Veteran poet Javed Akhtar paid tribute to the late actor-filmmaker at a recent ceremony held in his honour. When recalling memories of the late actor and filmmaker, Javed said that the fact that “Satish’s story could not be completed” saddened him the most. Javed discusses a business Satish started and how much it would have been worth if he had still been alive, between 150 and 200 crores.

Shashi, Satish Kaushik’s wife, and Vanshika, their daughter, survive him.

Anupam Kher, Anil Kapoor, Neena Gupta, and numerous other celebrities shared their loving recollections of Satish during an event held in his honour in Mumbai last month to celebrate his 67th birthday. Shabana Azmi, an actress, and her husband Javed were also present. Javed also paid tribute to the late actor-director in a heartfelt tweet following Satish’s passing on March 9.

Now, The Times of India cited Javed Akhtar as saying, “He (Satish) was always smiling and had tremendous humour, but behind that was a very serious and sensitive person,” at a recent event in Lucknow. Was. I regret that Satish’s narrative was unable to be finished. His career as a producer and filmmaker had just begun, and Lucknow had given him a lot of encouragement. I’m confident that his company would have increased in value by 150–200 crores if he had stayed for another two–three years.

It’s unclear to what business Javed was alluding when he said that. According to rumours, Satish is the owner of Satish Kaushik Entertainment LLP, a business that was established in Mumbai in November 2021. The late actor reportedly co-founded a film production firm in 2007 with Anupam Kher, a close friend and former student from the National Academy of Theatre.

Satish Kaushik is well-known for his parts in films like Mr. and Mrs. Khiladi and Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro. His most well-known works as a director were Mujhe Kuch Kehna Hai (2001), which starred Kareena Kapoor Khan and Tusshar Kapoor, and Tere Naam (2003, which starred Salman Khan).
