In the photo, Kangana was decked up in a black and white attire with her hair pulled back into a ponytail. Anurag was seen pointing towards Kangana while wearing a white shirt and blue jeans. They were both engaged in a chat.

Anurag Basu is the director of the drama Life in a Metro (2007). In addition to Kangana, the movie also has prominent performances by Dharmendra, Nafisa Ali, Shilpa Shetty, Kay Kay Menon, Shiney Ahuja, Irrfan Khan, Konkona Sensharma, and Sharman Joshi. In the 2006 thriller Gangster, Kangana made her Bollywood debut.

Kangana will appear in Chandramukhi 2, which also stars P Vasu. It is the follow-up to the wildly popular Tamil horror comedy movie Chandramukhi. Kangana will portray a dancer in the king’s court in Chandramukhi 2 who was renowned for her beauty and dancing prowess. She will also appear in Tejas, where she will portray a pilot with the Indian Air Force. The movie has yet to have its official release date announced.

Additionally, Kangana will appear in the upcoming period drama Emergency, which will mark her directorial debut. Kangana plays the title role of the late politician in the movie Emergency, which centres on the life of the former prime minister Indira Gandhi. In addition to Kangana, the movie also features lead performances by Anupam Kher, Mahima Chowdhary, Vishakha Nair, and Shreyas Talpade. Kangana will also be seen by the public in Manikarnika Returns: The Tale of Didda and The Avatar: Sita in the upcoming months.
