Abhishek Bachchan shared his thoughts on Ponniyin Selvan 2 on Twitter. Actress Aishwarya Rai, the wife of director Mani Ratnam, plays the lead in the movie. While Abhishek praised Aishwarya for her performance in the movie, someone urged him to let her sign on for more projects rather than taking care of his daughter Aaradhya. The performer had a succinct response for her.

Abhishek commented on Ponniyin Selvan 2 by writing, “#PS2 is awesome!!! I’m currently at a loss for words. I’m so exhausted Congratulations to the entire cast and crew of #ManiRatnam, including @chiyaan @trishtrashers @actor jayamravi @Karthi Offl and the others. Therefore, I’m proud of the best Smt ever,” he wrote.

In response to his tweet, a user wrote, “As you should! Now let her sign for more movies while you look after Aaradhya. Allow her to sign?,” Abhishek retorted. He certainly doesn’t need my consent to do anything, sir. She loves a certain thing in particular.

The second installment of Mani Ratnam’s epic is titled Ponniyin Selvan 2. The five-part novel series of the same name by Kalki Krishnamurthy is the basis for the movie.
