As usual, Filmfare 2023 was a star-studded affair. Veteran actors Kabir Bedi and Rekha were also present; they got together for a rare photograph. Kabir Bedi recently posted pictures on his Instagram account from meetings with Rekha, who co-starred with him in Khoon Bhri Maang, and other people. With his granddaughter Alaya F, he also took a photo.
At Filmfare 2023, Rekha and co-star Kabir Bedi from Khoon Bhari Maang got back together.
Kabir Bedi posted a photo of himself and Rekha from the Filmfare Awards ceremony, saying, “At the 68th @filmfare Awards last night, I got to meet my co-star in “Khoon Bhari Maang,” the stunning Rekha. A conversation about the past with my wife @parveendusanj and Filmfare editor @jiteshpillai inside. I traveled to present an award alongside my adorable granddaughter @alayaf, to whom I had given the Filmfare Best Debut Award two years prior. Being a member of the jury for these deserving honors was enjoyable. Filmfare It has traditionally been referred to as India’s Oscars.”

Soon after the images were posted, admirers showered the actors with love in the comments section. Even the iconic crocodile scene from the bloody demand was brought up by several of them.
Among them, one wrote: “Yet, Khoon Bhari Maang, in which you both collaborated with Rekha ji, was a hit in the USSR and I saw many of your films as a child. In our community in Armenia, it also became a tremendous hit. seen numerous times in theaters. I’m grateful.” Another person remarked, “She is remarkably forgiving considering you almost fed her to alligators.” Another person said, “This makes me think of the day you pushed her overboard into the crocodiles. Bringing back memories from my youth.”
Khoon Bhari Maang, which was published in 1988, was a big success. It was an adaptation of the Return to Eden miniseries from Australia (1983). The movie carved out a niche for itself with its plot, lyrics, and costumes—not to mention its well-known crocodile scene starring Kabir and Rekha.
Sanjay, a.k.a. Kabir Bedi, pushed Rekha as Aarti off a boat and into a pond teeming with crocodiles. She miraculously survives the attempted murder and has plastic surgery to avenge her husband.
