A Twitter user recently responded to a tweet from the actor by writing, “Why do you keep choosing dramatic, wildly improbable biopics, especially ones about sports figures? They all adhere to a very Predictable template. It’s humdrum!”

On discussing the movie with Times of India last year, Harshvardhan said, “Honestly, it was planned to happen even before AK vs. AK and Thar” (the recent projects he starred in). Harshvardhan will play the expert shooter in the biography, and Anil Kapoor will play Abhinav’s father. The autobiography of Abhinav, A Shot at History: My Obsessive Quest to Olympic Gold and Beyond, is being adapted for the big screen.
