The new murder thriller “Azam,” which debuts on May 19, features actor Jimmy Shergill in a colorful role.
A motion poster for “Azam” has been released by the producers, showcasing Jimmy’s appearance as Javed, who is depicted as a gray character. Jimmy is depicted on the billboard standing in front of Mumbai’s famous Gateway of India.
Jimmy Shergill stated, “I am portraying Javed, a trusted assistant to Nawab Khan, one of the most influential dons in the city’s mafia. I had a fantastic time delving into Javed’s motivations and psychology because he is a complicated character with gray areas.
In addition to Jimmy Shergill, the film’s director Shravan Tiwari discussed the subject and said, “‘Azam’ is a passion project for me, and I am delighted to offer this riveting tale to the audience. The movie is a blend of the crime, thriller, and mystery genres, and we’ve worked hard to build an engaging environment that will have spectators on the edge of their seats.
The conflict over Nawab Khan’s succession as mafia don of the five-partner syndicate that rules the city is the focus of “Azam.” Although Kader, the Nawab’s son, is the true successor to the firm, on the advice of his assistant Javed, he intends to get rid of all of his father’s business partners (Jimmy Shergill).
The other syndicate members, however, have other goals in mind for the gang war, so Kadar’s plan does not succeed. DCP Joshi is attempting to halt the gang war in the midst of this plot.
