In a recent interview, she added that one of the challenges she faces is finding characters who inspire her, which is why she prefers to take on fewer projects.
Radhika Apte has spoken candidly about turning down roles.
Radhika spends time in both the UK and India. The actor is well-known for the films Monica, O My Love, Badlapur, Phobia, and Andhadhun.
In an interview with the news organisation PTI, Radhika discussed declining a job, “I simply state, “I don’t feel like playing this role at the moment.” It can be difficult to say no since there are moments when you have nothing else on your mind but “Will I get a job?” Being a freelance actor means that you are continuously considering your next gig, which might be intimidating but is okay.”
She also discussed the script, “Nowadays, it’s difficult to get good scripts since everyone creates everything so quickly and there are so many additional requirements. Finding parts that you truly feel are difficult to come by.” Done and felt. “It was expertly crafted. I work when I have to because I reside in two different countries and I don’t like working a lot because it makes me exhausted. I write, read, and do other things than acting while I’m not working.”
Radhika recently appeared in Mrs. Undercover, a movie about a housewife who becomes a detective and in which she plays the role of Durga. Anushree Mehta, a newcomer to acting, is the director of the ZEE5 film Mrs. Undercover. Saheb Chatterjee, Rajesh Sharma, and Sumeet Vyas also have significant parts in the movie. It’s referred to as an espionage comedy. On April 14, Mrs. Undercover makes its debut.
When discussing her experience working on the movie, Radhika had previously told the news agency ANI, “Mrs. Undercover is meaningful to me for a number of reasons. In addition to the fact that espionage comedies are a foreign genre in India, I was drawn to Durga when I initially began narrating the movie. Durga is hilarious, compassionate, and honest, but she’s also awkward and self-conscious, and the movie follows her quest to find her inner strength.
