Actress Kangana Ranaut said on Instagram that a group of protesters had gathered outside her office in Mumbai. He claims that this occurred as a result of a post he made about the Dalai Lama and US President Joe Biden. The actor clarified his motives and described his post as a “harmless jest” after sharing a photo from the rally.
In Mumbai, Kangana Ranaut shared a photo of the crowd outside her workplace.
“A group of Buddhists are protesting outside my office on Pali Hill, but I didn’t mean to upset anyone; it was just a light-hearted joke about Biden’s friendship with the Dalai Lama,” Kangana Ranaut wrote. Please don’t misinterpret what I’m saying (folded hands emoji).
And she added, “I adhere to the Buddha’s teachings, and His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama has dedicated his entire life to serving the public. I did not have any grudges… enduring the stifling heat If not, kindly return home.”
Lovely welcome to the Dalai Lama at the White House, Kangana had tweeted earlier on April 12 alongside a meme that featured him. The actor commented on the post, “Hmmm both have the same condition, surely can be buddies,” when he shared it.
A recent viral video showed the Dalai Lama kissing a little youngster on the lips. On the Internet, opinions on it were divided. The incident happened in February at a large gathering at Dharamshala’s Sugalgkhang Temple.
According to news agency AP, a youngster asked him if he may hug him during the exchange. The kid was welcomed to the platform by the Dalai Lama, who was seated there. He gestures to his cheek in the video, and the young youngster then kisses him and gives him a bear hug.
The kid was apparently then instructed by the Dalai Lama to give him a lip-to-lip kiss and stick out his tongue. The Dalai Lama was reportedly heard saying, “And suck my tongue.” The young man bowed and stuck out his tongue. The Tibetan spiritual leader apologised after the video was condemned by some. Yet the incident also prompted an internet meme frenzy.
