Kevin Macdonald, an Oscar winner, is developing a crowdsourced movie chronicling the genuine tale of humanity’s collective mental health.
This information, which they refer to as “the greatest public-participation feature film in history,” comes from the creators of McDonald’s Life in a Day.

The charitable organisation Wellcome has urged people to bring in video documentation of the realities of their journeys with mental illness in the hopes that it may be helpful. projected to have “a fresh social effect objective at its heart” and match the size of the movie life in a Day.
Whitney Director Macdonald, who also makes social problem documentaries on ITV like It Takes a Flood, recently signed a multi-project deal with Banijay.
I’m hoping this will convey the “raw, genuine experiences of people from all walks of life,” they stated.
He continued, “The globe has seen an unparalleled time of uncertainty and change, and mental health has surfaced as a significant issue that impacts all of us either directly or indirectly.
Participants will become a part of “a community of people who want to improve the world by sharing their own stories,” according to Jack Arbuthnot, a former producer for Scott Free and the co-director of I hope this helps.
Around 100 grassroots organisations are actively seeking donors for the project, which is supported by eminent mental health organisations including United for Global Mental Health.
