It’s Priyanka Chopra Adnan Siddiqui, a Pakistani actor, recently criticized Jonas on Instagram for praising Pakistani filmmaker Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy for helming the Star Wars movie and referring to it as South Asian. Siddiqui disapproved of Priyanka’s social media addressing of him. See more below.
Director and journalist Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy has won an Oscar Award and an International Emmy. The first woman and person of color to helm a Star Wars movie, Sharmeen is about to make history.
Speaking along the same lines, Priyanka Chopra thanked Sharmeen on her Instagram stories, stating, “The first person of color and the first woman to direct a ‘Star Wars’ film…and she’s from the South,” according to The Times of India. Asiatics are. @sharmeenobaidchinoy, what a moment in history. I am so happy for you, my friend! The force be with you, my friend!” Adnan Siddiqui, a Pakistani actor, was not pleased and expressed his anger on Twitter. Adnan posted on Twitter that he intended to lecture Priyanka Chopra “I respect you, @priyankachopra The first Pakistani to brush up on your knowledge is Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy. Similar to how you always mention your Indian citizenship before claiming to be South Asian.
with the utmost regard, Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy is the first Pakistani to advance your education, @Priyanka Chopra. Just as you display your Indian nationality anytime you receive a
chance before claiming to be a South Asian.đđ˝ pic.twitter.com/B7wy8gD8QB

In Mom, Adnan Siddiqui, who later accused Priyanka of carelessness, made his Bollywood debut alongside Sridevi. This is not the first time Adnan has used a famous Indian person’s name. He had previously made fun of the way Pakistanis were portrayed in the movie Mission Majnu, which starred Sidharth Malhotra and Rashmika Mandanna.
“How much misrepresentation is too much misrepresentation,” he continued. Bollywood offers the solution.
