Lita described two unique match concepts she’d like to test in an interview with The Bet Las Vegas. Late last year, both of these matches were created, and pre-era performers were excluded. There are two settings in which past champions choose to wrestle: Money in the Bank and Elimination Chamber contests.
“I can still clearly recall the first Elimination Chamber,” I can still clearly recall the original Money in the Bank game. It was the level of anticipation for the new aspect that people had.

Lita often wondered if gimmick matches were in her heyday
Lita wasn’t necessarily envious when the Women’s Elimination Chamber and Money in the Bank events were launched, but she was thrilled to see these new possibilities being created for female superstars.

Lita was invited to take part in the first Women’s Royal Rumble event in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 2018, but she was never given the opportunity to fight in an Elimination Chamber or Money in the Bank bout. She came back again in 2022 for the Women’s Royal Rumble All-Star event.
At the 39th WrestleMania, she then competed in her second match, teaming up with Trish Stratus and Becky Lynch to face Damage CTRL in a Women’s Tag Team Championship contest. Her final and lone WrestleMania bout was a triple threat against Jazz and Stratus at WrestleMania X8.
In the program airing on February 27, Lita and Becky Lynch fought Damage CTRL members IYO Skye and Dakota Kai to win the Women’s Tag Team Championship with the assistance of WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus. This storyline sparked a six-woman tag team match between the three babyfaces and Bayley, Kai, and Sky of Damage Control on the show’s episode.
