The National Award-winning actor will play the role of Madhukar Zende, the iconic Mumbai police officer who apprehended the infamous serial killer Charles Sobhraj, according to Peeping Moon. Over the course of his four-decade career, he not only accomplished this accomplishment once, but twice. The movie, which began production in January, is anticipated to conclude today in Goa.
Chinmay Mandlekar, a well-known Marathi actor who played Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in movies like Farzand, Fatteshikast, Pawankhind, Subhedar, and Sher Shivraj, will direct Inspector Zende. Mandlekar is preparing Inspector Zende, his first feature film as director. It will be directed by Om Raut for Netflix and produced by Jay Shewakramani (Northern Lights Films).
