Veteran performer Neena Gupta discusses young Bollywood actresses being invited to overseas events in a recent interview. As she seen the younger generation succeed abroad, the actress experienced conflicting emotions. Speaking of stars like Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt, and Deepika Padukone, Neena expressed her regret at not receiving similar early “exposure” on the international stage. She claimed that whenever she sees him at such events, she gets “jealous.”

Priyanka Chopra and Alia Bhatt attracted attention at this year’s Met Gala, which was held on May 1 (May 2 in India) in New York, while Deepika Padukone presented at the 95th Academy Awards in Los Angeles in March.
Neena expressed her desire to be a young actress today in an interview with News18 while speaking about herself. “I wish we’d received the same publicity. Every minute that goes by, I think of him. I get jealousy constantly (smiles). What would have occurred if I had been a young performer in today’s society? I could have done so much more. And. Having said that, I am aware that you cannot always get what you want. Even at this advanced age, I am undoubtedly appreciative of all the work that is coming my way. But when I see it, I do feel intensely jealous. Nina added that they were strolling [on the world stage] while wearing dresses.
The actor continued by saying that if she were ever invited to a major international event, she would dress as her actress-designer daughter Masaba Gupta. “If they call me, I’m game,” Neena declared. I am not physically capable of donning a gown. Thus, if I’m invited, I’ll dress up in a gorgeous saree. Yet I’m not getting any invitations to this worldwide event (laughs). I have Masaba style me if I get a chance.
In Mrs. Chatterjee VS. Norway, Neena was last noticed. The actor is now filming Metro in Dino after recently wrapping up work on Charlie Chopra and The Secret of Solang Valley. In Lust Tales 2, under the direction of R Balki, he also appeared in a section. The date of release is June 29.
